The story: We’ve been behind many high-profile national and international VisitEngland campaigns, but perhaps the most well known is the ‘National Quality Assurance Scheme’. This mark needed to connect England’s quality tourism providers, assessed accommodation, and its variety of attractions.
The spark: We created the ‘red rose’ device as an overarching identity, and developed a set of brand guidelines covering visual language, tone of voice, photography and illustration. The ‘rose’ has been hugely successful, becoming the definitive emblem of quality in accommodation and tourism. In England, the chances are you’re never more than 500 yards from one!
